School of Savers

North Tonawanda City School District and Niagara Regional Federal Credit Union have partnered to educate elementary and middle school students about the importance of responsible finances. Through the School of Savers program, students have the opportunity to open and maintain a savings account, gain a sense of responsibility, and develop the experience needed to know the importance of investing money. The program reinforces basic math skills, and gives hands on experience in handling money. Participation in the program is encouraged but entirely voluntary.

If your child does not attend a North Tonawanda City School District school he or she can still participate and must make all deposits in person at our branch.

BANKING OPTIONS AT SCHOOL, AT NIAGARA REGIONAL FEDERAL CREDIT UNION, AND ONLINE!

Students can bank at their school by leaving their deposit in a secure mailbox located in the main office. Envelopes will be picked up every Tuesday during the school year. Regular deposits are encouraged, though not required. Students will be able to watch their savings grow online through Home Banking and earn the sense of pride that comes with learning to save on their own. Of course deposits and withdrawals can be made during operating hours at any Niagara Regional FCU branch.
