Membership is open to all who live, work, worship, attend school, volunteer in, as well as immediate family members, businesses and other legal entities within Niagara County and Erie County, New York!

NRFCU exists to provide financial services to its members. We will serve your borrowing and savings needs with confidentiality, using all the conveniences available to us. To accomplish this, we are competitive with other financial institutions, constantly updating our technology and offering our members the lowest costs feasible to provide them with the greatest returns possible. Our not-for-profit status allows us to reinvest into our membership by offering lower interest rates on loans and higher dividends! Credit unions are endlessly unique. Our members are very important to us - we work very hard to make sure our members know that we’re here for them when life happens!

The initial deposit for a membership is $6.00. This is your shareholder's par value of one share in the credit union ($5.00), plus a $1.00 fee. The $5.00 stays in the account at all times until the membership is closed. Once approved, you then become a member of the credit union, an organization owned by its members. It is always easier and more pleasant to do business where you are an individual, not just an account number.

Note: In order to comply with the U.S. Patriot Act, the credit union must verify identities of all new members upon opening accounts. Photo ID is required for all new accounts. Please be assured that this step is necessary in ensuring the safety and security of our great nation!

CO-OP Shared Branching

Shared branching is a national network of credit unions that share facilities to give our members thousands of branches in all 50 states. Whether you are on vacation or have moved away, chances are there will be a shared branch near you to access your Niagara Regional Federal Credit Union account. 

Free Notary Service

Want something notarized for free? Niagara Regional FCU has a Notary Public available. If you need to be sure that a Notary Public will be available, please call the branch to set up an appointment. The credit union has Notaries Public commissioned by the State of New York to witness and certify signatures on documents. Please be sure to bring your documents, unsigned, and your valid identification.
