Online Banking

With Online Banking you can turn your home or office into your own personal NRFCU branch. You have access to view balances, transfer money, pay bills, view canceled checks, set up recurring transfers, set up account activity e-alerts, and much more. Simply click on the Login/Sign Up button below to login to your account or sign up as a new member. Online Banking is secured. Sensitive data is encrypted to protect your personal information.

Mobile Banking

Once you have signed up for our Online Banking service you can also take advantage of our Mobile Banking service. Mobile Banking will allow you to perform transactions right from your smartphone so you can manage your account from anywhere with a cellular or internet connection! Banking with this service is convenient, easy, secure, and most importantly free. Use one of the buttons below to start your download.

Viewing accounts in the mobile app: Click on the “Accounts” tab at the bottom of the app screen. You will be able to see all of your accounts in a list.

To view the account’s activity, click on the account of your choice and scroll to see all of your transactions!

To view Account Details such as Type, Current Balance, Available Balance, Last Transaction Date, Date Opened, and more, just click on the account box at the top of your Account Activity page!

Viewing accounts within Online Banking: Click the “Accounts” button up at the top of Online Banking. Your accounts will appear in boxes on your screen.

To view the account’s activity, simply click on the account box you wish to view. All transactions will appear and you will be able to scroll to see the account’s activity.

To view Account Details such as Type, Current Balance, Available Balance, Last Transaction Date, Date Opened, and more, click on the information icon (a small “i” within a circle) next to your account number within the dark blue line.

Transfer between savings, checking, loans and other members!

Transferring money in the mobile app: Click on the “Transfer” tab at the bottom of the app screen. Make sure “New” is underlined on the top of the screen.

Choose the account you wish to transfer from and to, the amount, and the description (optional). Choose to transfer now or schedule for later!

Did you know that you can also transfer money to another member’s account?

When choosing who to transfer “to”, choose “Another Member Account”. You will be prompted to fill in their Last Name, Member Number, Your Password, Account Type (Type 01 for Savings, 51 for Checking), and the Amount.

Please note that if the member you are transferring to has multiple checking accounts, you will need to know if their account type is labeled 51, 52, or 53. They will be able to view this in online banking within their Accounts page.


DEPOSITING A CHECK VIA OUR MOBILE APP

NRFCU offers the easy option to deposit checks through your mobile device, right at home! Here are some tips to avoid issues when depositing your check through our mobile app:

  • Taking pictures on wood or busy backgrounds causes a lot of them to not be able to be read. Take the picture on a solid, dark contrasting background.

  • Make sure that all 4 corners are visible in the photo for the front and back of the check.

  • Take photos on a flat, plain, dark contrasting background. Photos should not be taken in laps or on hands and the check should be smooth as possible.

  • Photos should always be taken with a clean camera with good overhead lighting with no shadows and the camera should not be zoomed in.

  • Pay bills online with instant access anytime, anywhere without the expense of stamps.

  • Schedule one-time or recurring payments and never worry about missing a bill.

  • Protect against check fraud making electronic payments and avoiding unsecured mail.

You must enroll for Bill Pay via online banking, NOT through the app. To do so, click on “Bill Pay” at the top of your Online Banking screen. Fill out the online form and submit!

Once you are enrolled, you will be able to manage your Bill Pay through the mobile app AND online banking!

Get started on your next loan application with ease, right through online banking! Just click on the “Apply for a Loan” tab on the top of your Online Banking

and fill out the online form for auto loans, personal loans, home equity, and more!

Introducing CardValet, a new app offered by Niagara Regional Federal Credit Union to help you control and monitor card usage anywhere, anytime, using your mobile phone. With CardValet you can protect your card from fraud by setting alerts and controls to determine how your debit card can be used. And, if you misplace your card, you can use the app to turn it off . . . and then turn it back on when you find it!

You can also use CardValet to manage spending. With customizable controls, alerts for spending limits, and easy-to-find account balances, you can set a budget and stick to it. You can even set the app to deny a transaction before it takes place, based on the criteria you set.
